We are in 2053. The space agency RESCAPE shuttle flies back from a regognition mission and brings along a sample of an alien bacteria. Once they arrive onboard, the rescue team finds out that Commander Opac is the only survivor. He is in a coma and seems to have been seriously infected by the pathogen. His blood tests and X-rays reveal nothing at all.
